Philp Brodie Grains (PBG) is an ethical and innovative marketer of grain products both nationally and internationally.  PBG is a service company based on honesty, timeliness, fairness, reliability and good service.

The Philp family commenced trading as J.D & G.A Philp in August 1973, and in 1979 Peter Brodie joined the team.    Due to the rapid expansion of the business, and the high ethical standards held by both the Philp’s and the Brodie’s, the business name was changed in January 1984 to Philp Brodie Grains.

In 2010 Emerald Group acquired PBG and have since been working together to provide local growers with a strategic link to the international markets.  The name Philp Brodie Grains remains the same with Peter Brodie continuing to act as the Managing Director.  To read more about this transaction visit the news section.

PBG place a strong emphasis on service to growers and now has access to 1200 producers.  A professional team has been developed who have earned the reputation within the industry for providing ethical business standards.  The PBG name is known for its financial strength, accessibility and knowledge base.
